WHAT TRIBESTAN IS
Tribestan is a plant product that contains a dry extract of the aerial part of the plant Tribulus terrestris (bobbin teeth). Tribestan stimulates the functions of the reproductive system, increases libido, increases the strength and duration of erection, favorably affects lipid metabolism, has a hormone-balancing effect and in women alleviates menopausal symptoms.
Tribestan is used in the complex treatment of decreased libido, impotence (pop weakness), male infertility; dyslipoproteinemia (disorders in lipid metabolism) to reduce total cholesterol and low-density lipoproteins; in women with menopausal and post-castration syndrome (condition after surgical removal of the ovaries) to alleviate pronounced neurovegetative and neuropsychiatric manifestations.
2. BEFORE YOU USE TRIBESTAN
Do not take Tribestan
if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to the active substance or to any of the other ingredients;
in severe cardiovascular or renal disease;
if you are under the age of 16;
Tribestan is not used during pregnancy or during lactation.
Take special care with Tribestan
In the treatment of women in menopause, the change from therapeutic to maintenance dose should be gradual. After a sharp reduction or discontinuation of the effective dose, a secondary manifestation of the complex of menopausal symptoms is possible.
Taking other medicines
Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
Co-administration of Tribestan with ovulation-stimulating medicinal products results in a mutually reinforcing effect.
Tribestan may potentiate the effects of diuretics (drainage drugs) and antihypertensive drugs (for the treatment of high blood pressure).
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine during pregnancy.
Tribestan should not be used during pregnancy and lactation. When pregnancy is established, the product should be discontinued.
Driving and using machines
Tribestan does not influence active attention and can be used by drivers and machine operators.
3. HOW TO TAKE TRIBESTAN
Take Tribestan as described in this leaflet. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The tablets are taken orally after a meal.
With reduced libido, impotence and infertility:
In men with reduced libido, impotence and infertility, the recommended dosage of 1-2 tablets 3 times a day. Duration of treatment – at least 90 days. The course of treatment may be repeated until satisfactory therapeutic effect is obtained.
In women with endocrine infertility, the recommended dosage is 1-2 tablets 3 times a day, administered from days 1 to 12 of the menstrual cycle. This course may be repeated periodically until pregnancy.
2 tablets 3 times a day. Duration of treatment – not less than 3 months. Menopause and post-castration syndrome in women:
1-2 tablets 3 times daily for 60-90 days. After improving the condition, it gradually changes to a maintenance dose – 2 tablets a day for 1-2 years.
If you take more Tribestan than you should
No cases of overdose with Tribestan have been observed so far. If you take more product, consult your doctor. If necessary, gastric lavage and symptomatic treatment are performed.
If you forget to take Tribestan
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

4. POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS
Like all medicines, tribestan can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
Hypersensitivity reactions may be observed in predisposed patients. May have an irritating effect on the gastric mucosa.

5. HOW TO STORE TRIBESTAN
Store in the original package in order to protect from moisture.
Store below 25 ° C.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children!
The medicine should not be used after the expiry date which is stated on the pack.
Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.
6. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
What Tribestan contains
The active ingredient is the dry extract of the herb teeth (Tribulus terrestris herba extraction siccum (35-45: 1)) 250 mg (furostanol saponin content not less than 112.5 mg).
The other ingredients are: microcrystalline cellulose; colloidal anhydrous silica; povidone K25; crospovidone; magnesium stearate; talc.
Composition of film cover: brown.
